Terms of Use

Draft updated: 15 October 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Bröllopsappen, including the mobile application, website and related services.

By creating an account, joining a wedding, purchasing a wedding activation or otherwise using Bröllopsappen, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines.

1. Service provider

Bröllopsappen is provided by:

Fiori EJE Ab
Åland, Finland
Email: support@brollopsappen.se

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create and manage your own Bröllopsappen account.

If you use Bröllopsappen on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by circumstances outside your reasonable control.

3. Weddings and user roles

Bröllopsappen allows users to create or join private wedding spaces.

Access and available features depend on your role, which may include:

  • Wedding owner;

  • Co-owner;

  • Administrator; or

  • Guest.

Wedding owners and authorised administrators are responsible for managing their wedding, invitation codes, content, members and settings.

Invitation codes are intended only for people invited to the relevant wedding. You must not publish, sell or distribute a code to unauthorised people.

Access to one wedding does not give you access to another wedding.

4. Wedding activation

Bröllopsappen allows a wedding owner to create and prepare a wedding before purchasing an activation. A permitted co-owner may also participate in wedding planning before activation.

A separate one-time purchase is required to activate each wedding and enable guest access.

A wedding activation:

  • Applies only to the wedding selected during activation;

  • Is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription;

  • Cannot normally be transferred to another wedding after redemption;

  • Does not create ownership of the software or service;

  • Allows the wedding's permitted owners and administrators to manage that wedding; and

  • Allows invited guests to access the available wedding features without making a separate purchase.

Duration of access

Wedding owners may begin planning their wedding as far in advance as they wish, subject to the continued availability of the service.

An activated wedding is intended to remain accessible throughout the planning period, during the celebration and for up to 24 months after the final wedding day.

The activation is not a lifetime purchase or a permanent archive of wedding content.

After the access period ends, wedding features and stored content may become unavailable. Users should save any photos or other content they wish to keep before their access ends.

Creating or activating another wedding requires a separate purchase.

5. Purchases and payment

Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple through their respective in-app purchasing systems.

The price, currency and applicable taxes are shown by the relevant store before you confirm the purchase. Store prices may vary by country or region and may change for future purchases.

Bröllopsappen does not receive your complete payment-card or bank-account details.

You must use a valid payment method and comply with the terms of the store through which you make the purchase.

6. Purchase verification and delivery

A purchase must be successfully verified before a wedding activation is granted.

Purchase information may be securely checked with Google or Apple and linked to:

  • Your authenticated account;

  • The purchased product;

  • The selected wedding; and

  • A server-generated purchase session.

A purchase may be delayed or rejected if it is pending, cancelled, refunded, already redeemed, associated with another account or wedding, or cannot be verified securely.

If a completed purchase does not activate the intended wedding, use the purchase-recovery function in the app or contact support@brollopsappen.se.

Do not attempt to manipulate, duplicate, transfer or reuse purchase credentials.

7. Refunds and consumer rights

Purchases of wedding activations are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play.

If you wish to request a refund, you should normally begin by using the refund process provided by the store through which you made your purchase. You may also contact support@brollopsappen.se if you need assistance with an activation or believe that the service has not been supplied as agreed.

Statutory consumer rights

Consumers may have statutory rights under applicable consumer-protection law, including rights relating to the supply, conformity and functioning of digital content and digital services.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, these rights may include having a problem corrected, receiving an appropriate price reduction or terminating the contract and obtaining a refund.

Right of withdrawal

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to a distance purchase, any exception or loss of that right must meet the requirements of applicable law.

The purchase and activation of Bröllopsappen do not automatically exclude statutory withdrawal rights. Any legally required consent, acknowledgement or information relating to the start of digital supply and the right of withdrawal must be provided through the applicable purchase process.

Refunds and activation status

If a purchase is refunded, cancelled or revoked, the corresponding wedding activation may be restricted or removed where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

8. Acceptable use

You must use Bröllopsappen lawfully and respectfully.

You may not:

  • Harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate another person;

  • Share illegal, abusive or infringing content;

  • Access another person's account or wedding without permission;

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the service;

  • Attempt to bypass permissions, purchase verification or access controls;

  • Extract, scrape or systematically copy information from the service;

  • Introduce malware or malicious code;

  • Use Bröllopsappen for unsolicited advertising, spam or fraudulent activity; or

  • Use the service in a way that violates our Community Guidelines.

9. User-generated content

You retain the rights you hold in content that you upload or share.

You grant Fiori EJE Ab a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and technically process that content only as needed to:

  • Provide Bröllopsappen;

  • Display content to the intended wedding members;

  • Operate features such as chat, photos and memories;

  • Create technical backups;

  • Investigate reports and enforce these Terms; and

  • Maintain the security and reliability of the service.

This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is technically necessary, legally required or needed for safety, dispute or enforcement purposes.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share your content, including photographs of other people.

10. Content visibility and responsibility

Content shared in a wedding may be visible to other members of that wedding according to the selected feature and user permissions.

You should not assume that content shared in the app cannot be saved, copied or captured by another authorised viewer.

Wedding owners and administrators may manage content within their wedding. Fiori EJE Ab may also remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines or applicable law.

11. Reporting and blocking

You may report inappropriate content or behaviour through the app where reporting is available, or by contacting support@brollopsappen.se.

Private-chat users may use the available blocking function to prevent further private contact. Blocking someone from a private conversation does not automatically remove that person from the entire wedding.

Reports must be made honestly. Deliberately false or abusive reporting is not permitted.

12. Intellectual property

Bröllopsappen, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to Fiori EJE Ab.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Bröllopsappen for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from Bröllopsappen except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

13. Third-party services

Bröllopsappen relies on services provided by third parties, including Google, Apple, Firebase, Google Cloud and Squarespace.

Links, maps or other external functions may take you to a third-party service. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

App-store terms and the applicable Apple or Google end-user terms also apply to your installation and use of the app.

14. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Bröllopsappen secure and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security work, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may improve, update, replace or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice where a material change negatively affects a purchased service, unless an urgent security, legal or technical reason requires immediate action.

15. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • A serious or repeated violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines;

  • Fraud or misuse of purchases;

  • Unauthorised access or a security risk;

  • Illegal activity;

  • Harm or risk to another person; or

  • A legal or regulatory requirement.

Where appropriate, we will consider the seriousness, context and frequency of the conduct.

You may stop using Bröllopsappen and request deletion of your account at any time, subject to the ownership-related requirements described in Section 16.

16. Account deletion and wedding data

You can request deletion of your Bröllopsappen account through the app or our account-deletion page.

Account deletion

When an account is deleted, the account's authentication credentials, associated profile information and wedding memberships are removed as part of the deletion process.

Some information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, dispute resolution or other legally justified purposes.

Wedding ownership

If you are the sole owner of a wedding, you cannot complete automatic account deletion while that ownership remains unresolved.

Please contact support@brollopsappen.se for assistance with your available options.

Deleting your personal account does not automatically delete a wedding or all content shared within it.

Previously shared content

Chat messages, photos, memories and other content previously shared with wedding members may remain available to preserve shared conversations and wedding history.

Where supported, your visible name may be removed or replaced with an anonymous designation. Some technical identifiers and references may remain associated with previously shared content.

Further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.

Wedding access and retention

An activated wedding is intended to remain accessible throughout the planning period and for up to 24 months after the final wedding day, subject to these Terms and the continued availability of the service.

This access period does not guarantee permanent storage or automatic deletion on a particular date.

Personal data is handled in accordance with the retention periods and procedures described in our Privacy Policy.

You may contact support to request assistance with wedding data or to exercise your applicable data-protection rights.

17. Limitation of liability

Bröllopsappen is a planning and communication service. It is not responsible for arranging or performing wedding services supplied by venues, transport providers, accommodation providers, caterers or other third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fiori EJE Ab is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

18. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy before using Bröllopsappen or providing personal data.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Bröllopsappen, applicable law, security requirements or platform rules.

The latest version will be published on this page. If a change materially affects your rights or use of the service, we will provide appropriate notice and may ask you to accept the updated Terms.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection available in your country of residence.

Please contact support@brollopsappen.se first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.

Consumers in Finland may obtain guidance from the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and may refer eligible disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

You retain the right to bring a claim before a competent court as provided by applicable law.
