Community Guidelines

Bröllopsappen is designed to bring people together before, during and after a wedding.
These Community Guidelines help create a welcoming, respectful and safe environment for everyone using the service.
They apply to wedding chats, private messages, photos, comments, memories, profiles and other content shared through Bröllopsappen.
By using Bröllopsappen, you agree to follow these guidelines and our Terms of Use.
1. Treat others with respect
Every wedding is a personal celebration, and everyone should feel welcome.
We ask all users to:
Communicate respectfully and considerately.
Respect other people's boundaries and privacy.
Be mindful when sharing photographs or personal information.
Respect the wedding couple's wishes and the purpose of their wedding space.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
Disagreements may happen, but harassment, intimidation and abusive behaviour are not acceptable.
2. Prohibited content and behaviour
You must not use Bröllopsappen to share or engage in:
Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation.
Hate speech or discriminatory abuse.
Sexual exploitation or other illegal sexual content.
Content that promotes or encourages violence.
Fraud, impersonation or deliberate deception.
Spam, unsolicited advertising or malicious links.
Content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
Unauthorised disclosure of private or sensitive personal information.
Illegal content or activity.
You must not attempt to bypass the app's security features, access another person's account or wedding without permission, or interfere with the service.
3. Respect privacy and shared content
Wedding spaces are intended for invited participants, but content shared within a wedding may be visible to other members.
Before sharing content:
Make sure you have the necessary rights or permissions.
Respect other people's wishes regarding photographs and personal information.
Take particular care when sharing photographs of children.
Avoid sharing sensitive information about another person without appropriate permission.
Remember that other authorised viewers may be able to save or capture content they can access.
Do not publish invitation codes or share them with unauthorised people.
4. Reporting inappropriate content
Bröllopsappen provides reporting features to help users flag inappropriate content or behaviour within a wedding.
Depending on the feature, you may report:
Chat messages;
Photos;
Comments;
Shared memories; and
Other users.
You may also contact support@brollopsappen.se if you have concerns about content, behaviour or your safety.
How reports are handled
Reports concerning shared wedding content may be reviewed by the wedding's owner or authorised administrators.
Depending on the type of content, they may dismiss a report or remove reported content, such as a Wedding Chat message, photo, comment or memory.
Reports concerning private conversations are handled separately from the wedding owner's moderation tools. If a private conversation raises a serious concern, please also contact our support team directly.
Submitting a report does not automatically result in content removal or action against another user.
Please submit reports in good faith. Deliberately false or abusive reporting is not permitted.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services.
5. Blocking other users
Bröllopsappen allows users to block or unblock another wedding member in private chat.
When a user is blocked:
Neither person can send new private messages to the other within that wedding.
Private-message notifications between the two users are prevented.
Previously exchanged messages are not automatically deleted.
Both users may still see each other's contributions in the shared Wedding Chat and other wedding features.
Neither person's membership in the wedding is automatically affected.
Blocking applies to private communication within the relevant wedding. It does not block the other person across all weddings or prevent them from using Bröllopsappen.
You can unblock a user through the available private-chat controls.
If you experience harassment, threats or other inappropriate behaviour, you can also report the relevant content or user, or contact support@brollopsappen.se.
6. Moderation and enforcement
Bröllopsappen provides moderation tools to help wedding owners and authorised administrators manage shared content and participation within their weddings.
Wedding moderation
Depending on the type of content or report, wedding owners and authorised administrators may:
Review reports concerning shared wedding content;
Dismiss reports that do not require further action;
Remove reported Wedding Chat messages, photos, comments or memories;
Remove a guest from their wedding; and
Prevent a removed guest from rejoining the same wedding using an invitation code, where this option is selected.
These actions apply to the relevant wedding and do not automatically affect the user's account or participation in other weddings.
Limitations
Wedding owners and administrators cannot use these moderation tools to access or remove private messages between other users.
Removing a guest from a wedding does not delete that person's Bröllopsappen account or necessarily prevent them from creating another account.
Reports do not automatically result in content removal or restrictions.
Serious concerns
If you encounter serious harassment, threats, illegal content or other safety concerns, please report the relevant content where possible and contact support@brollopsappen.se.
Fiori EJE Ab may assess reported concerns and consider appropriate action in accordance with applicable law and the technical and operational capabilities available.
We do not guarantee that every report will result in a particular moderation outcome.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you choose to share and for using Bröllopsappen in accordance with applicable law.
Wedding owners and authorised administrators have additional responsibility for managing their wedding spaces and responding appropriately to concerns brought to their attention.
Please remember that removing content from Bröllopsappen does not necessarily remove copies previously saved by other users.
8. Changes to these guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines to reflect changes to Bröllopsappen, applicable law, safety requirements or available moderation features.
The latest version will be published on this page.
